About Red Mills Pub

If ever there was a spot in Mahopac Falls that epitomized the essence of an unassuming, friendly pub, Red Mills Pub at 575 NY-6N fits the bill to a T. Nestled quietly in this New York nook, the place offers guests a relaxed atmosphere that’s as comfortable as an old sweater. For anyone in search of typical pub fare, it doesn’t disappoint. Think sandwiches piled high with fillings, a healthy range of wings, and of course, a selection of beers that goes down smoother than water.

Upon walking in, Red Mills Pub gives off a vibe that's both warm and familiar. It's not flashy, but that's part of its charm. Regulars and newcomers alike are greeted with a smile that says, "Welcome home." The menu, while offering classic choices, has a knack for delivering those familiar tastes that comfort the soul. Whether it’s the crispy wings, slathered in a tangy sauce, or a hefty sandwich served with a side of golden fries, each dish hits the mark.

The enjoyment of any meal is often doubled by the ambiance, and at Red Mills, that’s no different. The location itself is a gem hidden in plain sight and serves as the heartbeat of its community. A perfect place to kick back, have a laugh with friends, and enjoy a cold one after a long day. Weekends tend to bring a buzz of activity, and those who visit on such occasions experience the pub's spirit in full bloom.

Stepping outside, reviews from those who’ve visited echo one's sentiments; Red Mills Pub has its formula down pat. This isn’t the venue for haute cuisine or avant-garde experiments, but when it comes to doing pub grub right, it's hard to beat. Diners emphasize the quality service and the no-fuss approach that wins hearts over. An ideal setting for casual lunches or hearty dinners.

Red Mills Pub stands as a testament to the idea that sometimes, straightforward food done right, a welcoming atmosphere, and good company are all that’s needed for a memorable dining experience. For anyone passing through Mahopac Falls, a visit here is highly recommended, if only to remember why the classics never go out of style.

Local Hotspot. Food is great and portions are large, the price is right! Love this place. Nice size bar, plenty of tables, Tvs to watch the games and outdoor dining.

Best burger in Mahopac, hands down. Possibly best burger in Putnam County. Fresh quality beef and the tater tots are to die for! Perfectly cooked and crispy every time. The tap beer is always fresh and cold and the wait staff is super friendly. Love the 'Pub!!

Red MIlls Pub is a go to when Im in the area. They have a golfer special (we play at putnam golf course around the corner) that is outstanding. Burger, fries, mug of Bud..$10 ! I order medium rare every time and it is cooked perfectly every time. Nice crispy fries and onion rings. A friend of mine gets the fried shrimp every time and is very happy as is another friend with their modified turky sandwich Service is quick. It can be loud especially if sports are on the multiple tv's...... it is a pub after all!!

Casual pub food and family friendly place. Stopped by for a late Sunday lunch, had a Reuben and some wings, both were great. They had the game on, pool table in the back, darts, whole place had a laid back feel
